Presentation of the European Monitoring Centre on Racism and Xenophobia database and data collection project. One of the main problems is to create data comparability in the field of racism, xenophobia and antisemitism.

In previous ECCHRD meetings we had discussion about Human Rights Documentation in Central and Eastern Europe and we never followed up on this. It will be a good opportunity to hear what organisations in Central and Eastern Europe have achieved over the past years and what is needed to improve their work.

The Martus Human Rights Bulletin System is an open source technology tool designed to assist human rights organizations in collecting, safeguarding, organizing and disseminating information about human rights abuses. It enables grassroots NGOs to securely store their records on off-site servers with easy-to-use software, preserving crucial evidence for research, investigation and prosecutions.
14.15-15.00 The role and future of the ECCHRD
Discussion what the participants want and expect of the ECCHRD meetings. Furthermore it was mentioned at last year's meeting that there should be more emphasis on the actual implementation of ideas of the ECCHRD in the future. This discussion will be meant to see how we can achieve this.
